Giant Lego Man Washes Up on Beach Pictures?

A giant Lego man washed up on the beach shore of Siesta Key Beach. At first some thought it was a viral marketing stunt from Legoland.
But apparently Lego the company has said they have nothing to do with it.
I've seen the pictures and I love the design of the giant Lego man. Whoever made it did a wonderful job.
But I wonder why it was in the sea? Who found it washing up on the beach, was it a tourist?
Where can I see more pictures of the giant Lego man?

The only hint to who the creator of the giant Lego Man that was found washing up on the beach might be is a website for Ego Leonard, it might be the name of the artist who created the sculpture or might be the name of the sculpture itself.
The giant Lego man was discovered by a man taking a morning walk on the beach and took some pictures.
Those were immediately uploaded to the web and some newspaper took they story because they found it weird.
I'm sure there's an artist involved behind the giant Lego Man and personally I believe it is a wonderful idea.
I'm not sure about more pictures, but here's a video.
