NFL Lockout 2011 Explained?

Can somebody explain the NFL Lockout 2011 to me?
I am having a little bit of trouble understanding everything that this subject is involving.
I heard about the 2011 NFL Lockout and searched for a website that explained it, but I got more confused. Can someone explain whats really going on?

The Lockout means that NFL owners will not let the players come on team property to work out or practice.
The union decertified and the NFL responded by locking the players out.

There will be a draft as usual. No player gets paid during a lockout, regardless of whether they're under contract.

Let's hope the owners stop acting greedy, like they're not already set for life.
I think at this point, the 2011 NFL Lockout will be at a stand still. Neither side seems to be giving in, there is a likelihood of another extension.
