Online Free Shipping Day 2010?

Many online retailers have declared Friday December 17, 2010 as the last day that shoppers can order gifts online and have them delivered by Christmas with standard shipping.

The organizers of Free Shipping Day said they were able to persuade 1,754 stores and websites to participate in the event.

The idea is to give online retailers one last shot at attracting shoppers who want their presents to arrive before Christmas Day.

Many retailers are participating in 2010's Free Shipping Day. Some of them LeapFrog, Wirefly, Nikon, and Sony Styles. Others are offering some variation of free shipping; GameStop will have free shipping for orders over $75, while Nokia will offer free shipping to orders over $99., TigerDirect,, and CompUSA also have free shipping on select items.

By using an ingenious method of “stacking” online deals, you can score one, two or even three additional discounts above and beyond the free shipping deal.

More than half of the participating vendors offer free shipping with no minimum purchase. Some do enforce a minimum purchase amount or other criteria to have shipping costs waived.

Traditionally, Free Shipping Friday usually falls about a week before December 25th since it's the last day that most couriers can guarantee your gifts will make it to their destination for Christmas Eve.

Check to check all the good deals. Hurry up since the offer is only for the rest of the day.
