Adderall Abuse Side Effects?

Some students choose Adderall, the addictive prescription drug known as the study buddy or smart drug to get better grades.
Adderall is a drug typically used to treat ADHD, and I've been told it should not be abused.
What are the side effects of Adderall abuse? I have a friend who takes one pill a day during finals.
Should he be concerned about his health?

I think there should be a campaign about the side effects of Adderall, many students consider the drug harmless.

Adderall is a schedule 2 narcotic, which means it's an addictive drug and most college students are getting the drug illegally.
Abusing Adderall is every bit as addictive as methamphetamine because it's basically the same thing.

These are the typical side effects of Adderall in adults:
- Weight loss
- Dry mouth
- Trouble falling asleep
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Decreased appetite.

Misuse of Adderall may cause heart attacks or other serious heart problems. In some cases, it has even caused sudden death.
