Where Can I Download Microsoft Word?

I need to create a text document in Microsoft Word. Is it possible to download Word for free or do I have to pay for it?
I'm asking because my cousin downloaded Word from the Internet and he can use it without restrictions.
If there is a way, where can I download Microsoft Word?

Microsoft Word is not a free software application. You need to pay for it, if you want to use.
I think your cousin is using a pirated version of Word, which is illegal.
What you can actually use for free is Microsoft Word Viewer, an application that lets you see the content of Word documents. You can read any document, but you can't create or edit one.

I recommend you download a MS Word trial from Microsoft's website. You'll be able to use the full version for a period of time, then if you want to continue using it, you'll have to buy it.

Also, you can download Open Office for windows. It is a very good free application with the same features MS Office, and it is compatible with the most comment MS Office documents.

Search for OpenOffice on Google. I use it, it is excellent.
