How Long to Thaw a Turkey in Water Properly?

So I need to know how long is it going to take to thaw a turkey in water? I want to thaw it properly, that mean, I don't want to rush the defrosting so that I don't risk to change its taste.
Have you ever thawed a turkey breast before in water? If so, how long did it take to regain its fresh state and how did you do it?
I've read many ways of thawing a turkey but I just want to do it properly, time is not an issue here.
I know that Thanksgiving is tomorrow but I'm not going to rush it.

Thawing a turkey properly in water is easy, you just have to make sure that the water is cold and just leave it there until the thawing completes.
If you want to know how long it is going to take, you should have specified the size of your turkey because it varies depending if the bird is small or big.
I've thawed a small/medium turkey breast before. How long it took? About 4 hours to completely defrost.
I think that is the properly way to do it in water, just make sure to check it once in a while and replace the water if necessary.
