Abraham Lincoln Birthday 2010?

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States and is considered by many to be one of the greatest U.S. Presidents.
Today February 12th, 2010 celebrates Abraham Lincoln's 201th birthday.
Is there going to be a special celebration for the Abraham Lincoln Birthday holiday?
What interesting Abraham Lincoln quotes are remembered from his presidency?

Lincolnís Birthday celebrates the birthday of Abraham Lincoln, one of the most popular presidents in United States history. It is a state holiday in some states on or around February 12 each year.

To mark the occasion, officials are preparing a time capsule that will be stored at the Lincoln Presidential Library. It will include items such as birthday cards, photos and documents from the celebration of his 200th birthday.

Abraham Lincoln, Abe to his friends, was born 201 years ago today, FEB 12, the son of Thomas and Nancy Lincoln, a farming family, in Hardin County, Kentucky. Abe was only the third generation of his family to call Kentucky home.

Without Abraham Lincoln, there would be no United States of America. The ideal of a republic born during the American Revolution would now be dead, and there would have been rejoicing in the palaces of the major monarchies of Europe.
