Insight Bowl 2010 Date?

What is the date of the Insight Bowl 2010?
Iowa has accepted a bid to the Insight Bowl, where they'll face Missouri for the first time in 100 years.
I was surprised, many initial bowl projections had the Tigers slated for the Holiday Bowl with Nebraska earning the bid to the Insight. Even this morning I didn't think Mizzou would be landing in the Insight Bowl.
Still, although the Iowa-Missouri game might lack the fan intensity of Iowa-Nebraska, it will be a good game too.

It will be after Christmas on December 2010 but what date exactly?

It's the Tigers against the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Missouri (10-2), 14th in the Associated Press rankings and USA Today Poll, will play Iowa (7-5) in the Insight Bowl in Tempe, Arizona. The last time the Tigers played in the Insight Bowl in 1998, MU beat West Virginia 34-31.

While many scenarios had the Tigers getting pushed to the Holiday Bowl, the Insight went with Mizzou over Nebraska. The game's date is December 28, 2010 and they will meet in Sun Devil Stadium in a game that has a starting time of 9 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN.

The Insight Bowl 2010 will be the first meeting between the schools from bordering states since 1910, when Missouri beat Iowa 5-0 in Columbia.

Many Hawkeye fans are disappointed in the match up. For a brief period of time, many Hawkeye fans thought they had a shot at playing the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
