Matthew Hoh Resignation Letter?

Matthew Hoh, a Foreign Service officer, has resigned his position over the prosecution of the war in Afghanistan.

It's been said that when you start to lose the military then you start to lose the war: and that might just be what's happening over the resignation of Matthew Hoh. Hoh was a Marine Corps captain who fought in Iraq and he'd also worked there in a civilian capacity. He joined the foreign Service and was working in Afghanistan until his shock resignation.

I'm interested on the resignation letter he wrote. Has it been published online?

Matthew Hoh is about to become a famous man, at least among the anti-war crowd.

The Washington Post, which broke the story, also has a copy of Hoh's resignation letter. It includes lines that war critics may crib as President Obama considers whether to send more U.S. troops to Afghanistan.

Among Hoh's statements: "I fail to see the value or the worth in continued U.S. casualties or expenditures of resources in support of the Afghan government in what is, truly, a 35-year-old civil war."
