Christine O'Donnell For US Senate 2010?

Christine O'Donnell just won in Delaware. Michael Castle was the favored Republican, yet he lost to Christine O'Donnell because of her very motivated tea party base. This race is especially important, because this is a special US senate election to replace Vice President Joe Biden's seat.

Does Christine O'Donnell have any chance of winning in the fall? Do you think that what happened in the primary will repeat in the main election?

I don't think Christine O'Donnell has a chance of winning the US senate.

She is orthodox catholic and thinks adult movies are immoral.
Christine O'Donnell is such a wonderful candidate that the WSJ has published a report that the NRSC will not fund her campaign. Christine O'Donnell has an approval rating of less than 35%. Her former campaign manager has accused her of misappropriation of campaign funds.

Also the fact that Christine O'Donnell is affiliated with the Tea Party is another big mark against her....and that she aligned herself with republicans is a huge deterrent.

There is also the story of her financial issues. Reportedly, Christine O'Donnell is not very fiscally responsible with her own money and has even used campaign donations to pay for her rent in the past. If these claims are true, they indicate that she is not going to be a fiscally responsible Senator and thus are more evidence that she is no conservative.
