How Many Minutes Per Pound To Cook a Turkey?

Thanksgiving is at my house this year.

How many minutes per pound do you cook turkey a breast and at what temperature? I'm preparing 2 turkeys for Thanksgiving. I'm going to cook one in the oven and I'm going to deep fry the other one. I need to know the minutes per pound, because I want my Thanksgiving dinner to be perfect.
I was watching the Food Network last night and the lady said 18 minutes per pound but I want to be sure.

With no stuffing, your turkey will take 15 minutes per pound. Stuffed, it will take 20 minutes per pound. A meat thermometer is a must (for me at least.) The best temperature to remove the turkey for perfectly cooked white meat is 155-160 degrees breast temperature.

Here's the amount of time to cook an unstuffed turkey.

8 to 12 pounds -- 2-3/4 hours to 3 hours

12 to 14 pounds -- 3 to 3-3/4 hours

14 to 18 pounds -- 3-3/4 to 4-1/4 hours

18 to 20 pounds -- 4-1/4 hours to 4-1/2 hours

20 to 24 pounds -- 4-1/2 hours to 5 hours

24 to 30 pounds -- 5 to 5-1/2 hours

Be sure to put a tinfoil tent over the top of the turkey for the first 5-6 hours, so the skin doesn't get too browned. And after you remove the tent, baste the turkey every 30 minutes to keep it moist.
Best of luck with your turkey, happy Thanksgiving!
