Andrew Kwasniewski From Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas Death?

Andrew Kwasniewski, also known as Randy Kwasniewski, has been found dead in his Las Vegas home of an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound according to KTNV Las Vegas.

Kwasniewski was found by his wife inside their home and the Las Vegas Metro Police Department has launched an investigation in to his death, which they are treating as a suicide.

Kwasniewski was named president of the Morgans Hotel Group, which owns the Hard Rock Casino along with several other properties, in October of 2006.

The Hard Rock Hotel issued a statement this afternoon stating, "We are extremely saddened by the loss of Randy, and our hearts and prayers go out to the family. We do not know any further details at this time."

Why would Andrew Kwasniewski commit suicide? Was Andrew Kwasniewski depressed?

The Las Vegas Police Department, which has launched an investigation into the death, say they responded to a call at 9:50 a.m. local time and found a man dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Hard Rock Cafe, a chain of rock ‘n’roll memorabilia-themed restaurants, was founded in 1971. There are 140 Hard Rock Cafe’s in 40 countries around the world.

Details of the case remain scarce. Hard Rock Cafe officials have declined to comment to any media so far.

As a biography, Andrew “Randy” Kwasniewski was 55 years old. His career began in 1974, when he worked for Hyatt resorts and later, for Doubletree and Wyndam hotels. From January 2004 to May 2005, Kwasniewski worked at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas as the vice president of operations. He was an executive with more than thirty years of experience in the business. In October of 2006, he was appointed president of Hard Rock Holdings, LLC.

At this point it is not known why Kwasniewski would commit this alleged suicide, and no more details have been given out at this point. Deaths of this nature are treated in a very sensitive manner and it is likely that a press conference will be held when more information is known or if Kwasniewski's family would like to make a statement to the press.

This is so sad. Here is a guy with what would be considered a "dream job" by many and for him to be so unhappy that he kills himself. How very sad. It just goes to show that you should always be happy in your own shoes. Because you never know how it feels to be in someone else's shoes. RIP, man.
