Is the End of the World Really in 2012?
 

I thought the movie 2012 or the game Assassins Creed were all just fiction, but I've been reading and it seems Mayans and even Nostradamus predicted 2012 to be the end of the world, and now NASA says there's gonna be huge solar storms and satellites may be destroyed... Is this all true or it's just a big joke?
Do you think that the end of the world is really going to take place in 2012? Because that's too scary.

I think it's all just mass hysteria. The end of the world has been predicted several times before 2012 and so far no one has got it right. Nostradamus just says a lot of ambiguous stuff about a lot of things, so he's always been read as announcing the end of the world every 4 or 5 years. People seem to be making a big fuzz about Mayans and how they were so savvy and all their predictions for the world in 2012. Well, their calendar ends in December 12, 2012, just like a counter ends in 99, they never said Apocalypse was coming or nothing like that. And by the way, if they knew so much, how come they're all gone?
