So In Style Dolls Commercial?
With so few black dolls on toy-store shelves, many black parents had high hopes when toy powerhouse Mattel Inc. released So in Style, a set of black dolls with wider noses, fuller lips, sharper cheekbones and a variety of skin shades. They made a commercial.
Now some parents are saying the dolls aren't black enough. I never saw the commercial of the So In Style Dolls. Is the commercial online?

Mattel has had a rocky road with black dolls. It's first, introduced in 1967 as a friend of Barbie, was simply a white doll painted brown. The year 1980 saw the first, official black Barbie, but she was, again, essentially white barbie with a darker tone. Then it famously battled (and won) in court over rights to the American Girl line of dolls. The black one? She's a runaway slave.

Some say Mattel was caught between the proverbial rock and hard place because the african american community is so diverse. The criticism underscores how difficult it is for large commercial companies to please a widely diverse black community with a single image or two.
The So In Style dolls are a much better representation than what has been in the marketplace.
Here's the commercial of the So In Style Dolls:
